OYFS
On Your Feet Soldier No human disappears silently.

Why this exists

Whole industries are shifting in months instead of years. People with decades of craft are watching their roles dissolve into models and pipelines. The shock isn't only economic — it's identity. And in that moment, what hurts most isn't losing the work. It's becoming invisible while you look for what's next.

What we believe

The people who recover fastest aren't always the most credentialed. They're the ones who stay connected, stay visible, and have at least one human who knows they're still in the fight. We built OYFS to make that easier — daily check-ins, supporters, mentors, and a place to show up while you figure things out.

What we will not do

We will not turn grief into engagement metrics. We will not ship hustle clichés. We will not sell your data, your inbox, or your story. The network exists so members can support each other — that's the whole product.

Who builds and runs this

OYFS isn't a company. It's a community project — started by one developer and shaped, maintained, and kept alive by the members who use it. There are no investors, no ad partners, and no growth team. Bug reports, mentor offers, contributions, and feedback all come from members who decided this was worth showing up for. If that includes you: thank you.

The promise

Show up. Send your Pulse. Help one other person when you can. When you get hired, mark yourself as hired and stay around for the next person. That's how the network keeps working.

/ Origin

OYFS started as a future briefing — a message imagined as if it had been sent back from 2037, after people had already seen what large-scale displacement looks like. We took the message seriously and built the thing it described.
